1. Product introduction
Kapok fiber is the fruit fiber of several plants in kapok family of Malvaceae. It belongs to single-cell fiber. It is attached to the inner wall of kapok capsule shell and developed and grown by inner wall cells. Generally, the length is about 8 ~ 32mm and the diameter is about 20 ~ 45 μ m . It is the thinnest, lightest, highest hollow and warmest fiber material among natural ecological fibers. Its fineness is only 1 / 2 of that of cotton fiber, but its hollow rate is more than 86%, which is 2-3 times that of general cotton fiber. It has the characteristics of bright and clean, antibacterial, mothproof, mildew proof, soft, not easy to tangle, impervious to water and heat conduction, ecology, warmth preservation and strong moisture absorption.
